As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the front desk operates efficiently during evening hours.

Receptionist Responsibilities

As the Evening Receptionist, you will help ensure a positive experience for everyone who enters our facility while providing administrative support to the care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet residents, visitors, families, vendors, and staff with professionalism and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette.
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and maintain facility security protocols.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors while responding to general inquiries.
• Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and messages as appropriate.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, copying, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Communicate effectively with department leaders and nursing staff to assist with daily operations.
• Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or front desk experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating a multi-line telephone system is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, is preferred.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will play an essential role in helping residents maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs.
• Collect routine specimens as directed.
• Perform restorative nursing activities to promote resident independence.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Complete routine comfort, safety, and checking rounds.
• Accurately record resident intake and output.
• Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition, safety concerns, or potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of resident care.
• Communicate respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, visitors, and members of the care team.

Qualifications

• Current, active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care while working closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring residents for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs and other clinical observations.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to Registered Nurses and physicians.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized resident care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Supervise and collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
• Follow facility policies, state and federal regulations, and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
